RSSReader v1.11.2 J2ME

The free RSS feed reader is an J2ME MIDP application for Java enabled phones/mobiles that is able to read most RSS servers/feed versions. RSS is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other content like blogs and news. Data is stored on the device and updated on request. This uses the internet which service providers charge extra for, so you would best get an unlimited data from your service provider. This should work with most recent devices as they have MIDP 2.0. If it does not work, use the midp10_... version which is for older versions. If you select your phone make/model in the upper left hand drop down below the 'home' link, you get the right version of the program for your phone including if it is MIDP 1.0/2.0. Selecting the phone make/model is the best way to get the correct software. This is open source distributed under GPL. Source code is at http://code.google.com/p/mobile-rss-reader/

* You can install using either the PC link or the wap.getjar.com. The PC program names shows what features that program has (such as midp_). You can still download usning the direct download using wap.getjar.com.
* Add feeds and import OPML from phone memory with phones which have jsr75_ in the program name (the name shown for PC download). (if phone does not support JSR75 the program will not work). As long as you select the mobile device that you are using on getjar.com (this site) you will get the program that matches the functionality of your phone.
* Update all/updated feeds with single command
* Open item link or enclosure in device browser (Only on versions which have midp20_ in the program name of the PC)
